Summary:
2–6 Readfield Place is a thoughtfully designed 7-unit condominium community located in the W. Cottage Street neighborhood on the Dorchester/Roxbury line. Thelwell Group led the full entitlement process, transforming a retreat-lot driveway previously approved for only 3 units into an economically viable 7-unit development with 8 off-street parking spaces.
The project includes one deed-restricted affordable homeownership unit under Boston’s Inclusionary Development Policy. Our work involved extensive community engagement, including abutter meetings, collaboration with the Dudley Street Neighborhood Initiative (DSNI), and a successful approval before the Zoning Board of Appeal.
Once complete, the development will offer high-quality, for-sale homes that contribute to neighborhood stability and attainable urban homeownership.
